I'm different. Not just with the normal hair and eye color difference. I used to live in a world of nonsense, of chaos. Then I found Milwaukee. Milwaukee, in every sort of way, is my hometown. But I did not always live like this. My world got turned upside-down all because of that one night. The moon was full, stars shining. I had just finished off my third piece of my grandma's homemade apple pie. Laying in front of the stars, I suddenly felt rumbling. It's as if the the world had decided to split in half, and that's exactly what it did. I fell into the darkness. Falling, falling.....
When I woke up, I was at the bottom of a dark well or something. I didn't feel well. My head hurt, and it felt like I had the flu. I don't know how long I just sat there, staring up (or down...) at nothingness.
